The Summer Term 2012 is 9 weeks.  Dates are 14th May to 29th July. 
No Swimming on 2/3 June, and 9/10 June.

Parent and Baby
Parent and Child

Parent joins their child in all the lessons.  This can be from their first introduction as a baby through to older children that are not ready yet to swim without their parent.  We continue to take children to approximately 6-7 years of age when swimming with parent.  We also teach children without their parent.  For New Parents - Please call 01299 271247 before booking online.

Independent and Beginner Swimmers (no parent)

These children are confident in the water, capable of swimming a width with ease, and understand safety, safe entries and safe exits from the pool.  For those non-confident children, we recommend parent swimming with their child.  When they are ready, your child can join independent classes.   For New Parents - Please call the office first before booking online.

Baby and Pre-School                 

We are a STArfish accredited swimschool, and offer the STA Official Water and Safety and Swimming Programme for Babies and Young Children.  The STArfish awards are used as a guide as we teach other fun and swimming activities within the Baba Seahorse teaching programme.

Beginners

The STAnley First Step Series is taught to children around 2 years upwards. Babies will progress to the First Step Series from STArfish.  Most children that regularly attend classes from babies may start independant swims during their 3rd year.

Babies and Children can be introduced to swim classes at Baba Seahorse from any age from 3 months as a Parent and Baby Pair progressing to independent swimming without the parent. A teacher is in the water with you.

Qualifications

All teachers are full qualified with the Swimming Teacher's Assocation (STA).
